Form template: End of month selection in a date picker
This video is a demonstration of an InfoPath form template with a date picker that automatically displays a date for the end of the month.
InfoPath does not have an end-of-month function you can use to automatically calculate and set the value of a date picker to be equal to the date for the end of a particular month.
However, you can use a combination of rules, conditions, and a secondary data source to perform date calculations (that take leap years into consideration) to arrive at a date for the end of a month when a user selects or enters a particular date in a date picker control on an InfoPath form.
The following video is a demonstration of an InfoPath form template that implements such functionality. The form template is available for download by InfoPath 2010 Cookbook customers in the InfoPath 2010 Cookbook Club or by InfoPath 2013 Cookbook customers in the InfoPath 2013 Cookbook Club.
