Training for InfoPath – A beginners guide to learning InfoPath

Learn which InfoPath training resources are available for free online when you are trying to learn how to use InfoPath 2003, InfoPath 2007, or InfoPath 2010.

InfoPath training from Microsoft

The first obvious place to look for training when you want to learn InfoPath is Microsoft’s web sites.

Office Online generally offers articles and InfoPath training videos for non-developers, while MSDN is targetted towards developers.

Here are a few links to get you started:

There is much more InfoPath information available online, but these links should get you started.

Tip: If you want to learn InfoPath 2007, start with the InfoPath 2003 demos, training, and labs first, before you move onto those for InfoPath 2007. InfoPath 2007 builds on InfoPath 2003, so your learning curve will be less steep if you start with the learning material for version 2003.

InfoPath training for beginners from BizSupportOnline.NET

I’ve written several articles and tutorials on the basics of InfoPath. These articles and tutorials can help you get familiar with the most basic concepts in InfoPath.

I’m also in the process of creating and offering free InfoPath training videos, which are targetted towards beginners and/or Microsoft Office users who do not know much about InfoPath, and who would like to learn how to design and use form templates in InfoPath.

You can also learn several of the techniques I teach in my InfoPath books by watching my InfoPath 2007 video tutorials and InfoPath 2010 video tutorials.
